It shows that the hardware is not present, and iwconfig wont show it. Intel WIFI LINK 5100 AGN Driver and Software for Windows. I tried using the Windows driver with ndiswrapper as well with no luck. The driver for Intel Wifi Link 5100 SWEiNSANE mentioned is pretty much an in-box driver or WU (windows update) driver from Microsoft. Network manager does not show that the card is available. Do you know if I could substitute the driver. After the last Windows 10 update, I experienced a blue screen with a stopcode regarding the driver.

If the problem still persists, please understand that Windows 7 is a new operating system (only the beta version) and whole driverstore has been reprogrammed some old driver is not compatible with new OS. The wireless adapter is an Intel Wifi Link 5100 agn and Ive tried everything I could find to get it to work. Update the network WiFi 5100 AGN Intel driver for Windows 10 (HP Pavilion dv6 laptop) I have the network WiFi driver Intel 5100 AGN which is not supported yet by Intel (for my HP dv6 Pavilion laptop). In addition, you can use the Windows XP driver for testing. Remove and reinstall that hardware device in Device Manager, right-click on the driver executable/installer file and select the Compatibility tab click the checkbox before Run this program in Compatibility mode for option and select Windows Vista in the list-down box then try installing the device driver.
I'd suggest installing the Vista driver in Compatibility mode.
